Wildcat ground loop @ Camarillo Airshow?

Hopefully the damage is miminal.... (the FAA lists it as minor).

It flew out of Camarillo on the Sunday. Right wing was a bit tweaked by the aileron & the tip itself needs a bit of work to straighten it out & attach it correctly. Aileron had a scuff & a very small tear in the fabric. Easy fix, I imagine it will be sorted within a few days.

Was worried that ol' Biscuit wasn't going to be able to collect that last place prize money at Reno in a couple of weeks!

Stuff happens.
No stones have been thrown here so we should let it rest.
WIX seems to give the Good, the Bad and the Ugly at times.
We just never know which category we'll fit in next and better yet, we don't always get to chose.

I'm going to second what 51fixer said... WIX is a unique place. We have a gathering of warbird operators, historians, and enthusiasts, and sometimes we need to drop back and look at things from the broader perspective. This thread has stayed pretty civil, and I hope it stays that way.
Some of us do fly warbirds, and know that "there but for the grace of God go I..." We have an interest in safety, but we also want to protect the reputation of our fellow pilots, especially when there's no permanent damage done.
