Re: NTSB prelim on OSH Cub crash

I attempted a record query on ntsb.gov and there was no prelim available today. According to the news link, there was another Cub accompanying the mishap aircraft, so maybe they know for certain that aerobatics were being attempted. If that's the case, then there's not much to say.

On the other hand, if it were a maneuver out of the blue, I'd certainly consider pilot incapacitation, dropped object interfering with flight controls, or something of that nature. No pilot wants to auger in but it's worse if the report misses the real cause. Anyone who has flown an appreciable amount has likely seen disaster averted and thought later, "The investigators would never have figured that one out." I know I have.

Not saying that happened in this specific mishap, just a general observation.
