Does anyone know which one it is? I'm guessing one of Rod Lewis' birds. Is the scheme authentic?

Don't know for sure, but with that name I would bet big bucks it is Rods'. Why would you need permission to take a picture of that car? The plane just got in the way.

Without the Tequila distiller ad on the nose and if it had yellow spinners, it would be 95% accurate for the XF7F prototype, are we headed back into an era of swoopy 70's paint schemes?

it is a beautiful plane though ain't it.. It would be great to see the restoration process from a few more folks, like the way the restoration is going on the sole surviving PBJ-25

I think the silver looks very nice and look forward to seeing more.
The nose art and gun barrel trim are not really my cup of tea

But hey, as long as the owner likes it.

Hey, it's his plane, he can paint it however he wants. I don't like it at all, I much prefer authentic schemes, but it ain't my plane and it ain't my money, so... *shrug*
That P-40 sharing the ramp, on the other hand, was really outstanding!

You know what I was almost, almost going to say that.., but I did not want to brush across an already 'statically charged' issue.
But thanks for that!
Better you than me
