Tulio! I'm flying for the AF tonight so I just now got your message. Sorry I wasn't at West Houston to see you. The Air Force made me come home for a few days but I will be back to pick "FIFI" up and head to Austin on Friday. Sorry I missed you!

Brad,
What time will you be at the airport on Friday? I live but three miles away, and I will make sure to go see you. I will manage to say hi and shake your hand yet, Mexican Bob.
Saludos,
Tulio

I wouldn't get too close to Brad, remember, he's a loadmaster in real life. Like my wife says, "wash your hands after shaking his hand". (hide all the women and children!)

I like the photos, with something in the foreground it gives some perspective to the size of the B-29.

Thank you. I was hoping to get a shot from directly underneath, but I could not position myself with enough time. Impressive airplane, to say the least.

Cool shots..,
Love to see video of her landing and taking off.., my two favorite sounds in the world are those four engines on take-off and throttled down for landing!
Awesome sound!!!!

"
FIFI" and
Ol' 927 are now in Austin at Signature Flight Support. This is at Austin-Bergstrom across from the terminal areas. We will have signs up in the area directing people to the parking areas.
After Austin the girls will move to Hondo to partner with the Tex Hill Wing before heading to Randolph for the Open House and Air Show.
After Randolph the mechanics are going to get
"FIFI" for winter maintenance.
Ol' 927 however will get to keep flying a couple more weeks. We will be offering rides at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum on November 5th.
November 12&13th we will be in Midland again providing rides and serving as a backdrop for a dinner with Louie Zaperini of the 1936 Olympics and Laura Hillenbrand's
