Thanks for the update. The time I spent working on Jack's TBM was a great experience, but I sometimes forget that the electrical system is a big chunk of any project and can be a daunting task. Will be great to see it up and flying in the near future.

It is a beautiful restoration.
While I truly appreciate the complexity and the limited logistics and funds, which of necessity dictate the speed of any restoration; it always amazes me that it can take decades to do what Northrop/Boeing/et al did in a day.

I have a lot of NVG time and it doesn't sound like they had anything much in common with today's NVGs; they were just specially constructed binoculars. See the interesting link:
