Whats the Status on PANCHITO aka 9079Z

Anyone know the current status (other than wounded) of Panchito? like where she is? who is undertaking the repairs? I regularly see her and Mr. Larry when they flying into our little airshow here; sometimes with 1042B, I sure will miss her on the flight line this coming March.

According to the XP-82 update, October 2011 blog (http://www.xp-82twinmustangproject.com/), it must be at Douglas, GA, with Tom Reilly's shop.

I expect to see her flying this weekend at the Monroe, NC show. According to posts on the DAV blog and Facebook they will be there with the plane.

FYI, DAV was scheduled to attend the Niagara Falls airshow the week after the incident with Panchito and they ended up borrowing Take Off Time. Might be the same deal for this show.

She's at her home base in Georgetown, Deleware, and coming along just fine. I helped rebuild her brake disc assemblies about a week ago (they were due for overhaul). She'll be up and flying again very soon.

Take Off Time ended up substituting for Panchito in Monroe over the weekend.
