The word this morning is that it was an un-intended ejection for unknown reasons with a possible seat failure during the process. The seat exited the a/c cleanly from the photos, but apparently did not complete a clean sequence after that. Flt Lt Cunningham survived the incident, but passed in the hospital soon after. Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

The Reds and their crews have to be pulling their collective hair out, as it appears right now, to be the second seat induced fatality in three months.
