For those who don't know Joe D, he is a very well known Ranger engine builder. His engines run right, and he has been doing it for a while. I'm very lucky to know Mark and Joe- they have been exceptionally helpful to me, are always willing to teach and lend a hand, and they tolerate my bizarre sense of humor better than most people. If you go into Mark's shop, there's only one requirement- you have to wake up the sleeping elves by shouting "AMISH CRAFTSMEN" at the top of your lungs. Mark particularly likes that.

Yep, Joe
is a great guy (you are too Mark

), and in keeping with the Thanksgiving thread, I am thankful that these two guys have been such great friends and mentors to me over the years with my Fairchild PT addiction.
Glad to hear that you did get up flying after we talked Mark. Never skip an opportunity to do that with your Dad. I know that I never take it for granted when I get to go flying with mine.
Steve
