A gentleman contacted me via my site regarding this Stearman...
Aerial Visuals - Airframe Dossier - N2S-5 Kaydet [E75], s/n 52578 USN, c/n 75-08760, c/r N75672 He is trying to locate it since his dad flew it in training during the war. Does anyone know where it is? The dossier indicates it is in Carthage, Missouri. It was first registered in June 1973. You might think it could have been destroyed or rotted away long ago, but the registration was revised just last month. So... it is possible it is still around and still operating. Has anyone here spotted it at an airshow? Photos anyone?
If anyone does have a picture I would appreciate an upload...

Thanks Mike. I came up with that info as well. I am hoping that someone has spotted it at an airshow or airport someplace.

It might be a long term restoration that's either getting close or the owner wants to keep the original registration in the face of the Blue Blazer crowd making everyone update their registration.

That is what I was thinking. Perhaps it only exists as paperwork.

If he updated the registration then there's something there. It was a duster, still in restricted catagory. Probably sitting around in pieces.
