Convert an AT6 to an A-27

Could it be done without too much effort and $$$ or a complete replication? Interesting airplane I came across while researching early USAAC activity in the Philippines, never knew they existed, 10 total built from what I read. And a few were in the Philippines during 1941, and of the 10, seems none exist or lasted too long to begin with.

It's already been done with at least one Harvard Mk 4 (20479, the RCAF's last Harvard) and AFAIK is still flying as N1467.

I also learned of the A-27 a short time ago, while reading a story in a sixties-era edition of Air Classics. I'd like to find out what it took to convert an AT-6 to an A-27. I'm not an aeronautical engineer, but I'm assuming it's a wee bit more complicated than just removing the Wasp and mounting the Cyclone. Can anyone fill us in? Maybe the owners of the aircraft RCAF_100 mentioned? Thanks in advance.
