Question: WWII german ME-109 tires

Mon Dec 12, 2011 9:41 pm

]Hey guys new to the board, recommend from the g503.com. I have a set of tires I bought from a WWII vet's estate, in the shipping box i found a note that said the tires where from a ME-109 German fighter plane. They are rubber wheels and measure 11" in Diameter and are NOS. They are marked Continental, made in Germany, Deutsches Fabrikat, have a big A and K circle stamped mark and circle mark with a jumping horse with C.C. & G.P. Co. I will try to get some pictures posted when I can get my camera working again. Any information would be much appreciated, thanks!

Did a little research and the also are marked 290X110 and do seem to be for a ME-109, any confirmation would be much appreciated :)

They appear to be tailwheel tires and the white walls aren't for extra points @ the 'show and shine' it indicates the tire is a grounding surface so no extra clip on grounding clamp is needed.
