Tell me about the Scarface Helicopter units in Vietnam

Sat Dec 31, 2011 3:17 pm

So I was curious if anyone could shed some light on what the Helicopters in Vietnam looked like who were attached to the Scarface Units? My friends father was Scarface 57. I'm guessing that was his call sign? His name was Frank Cuddy he was in the Marines during Vietnam and did 3 tours during the war. I know he was a Huey Gunship Pilot, a Huey door gunner, and he did a few patrols after. He earned 3 Distinguish Flying Crosses and a bunch of other medals. I also know he was a pilot for Dessault Falcon after his career in the military.

Have you tried google using your father's information? Looks like there are people out there who knew him and may actually have photos of those exact aircraft.
