It’s a birthday party!!!
Doors open at 10:00am Sunday January 8th at the Alberta Aviation Museum
- ½ price admissions
- Cake cutting at 12:00 Noon
- Simulators open to public
- All the exhibits and features on display

Blatchford Field, Edmonton Industrial Airport, Edmonton Municipal Airport, “The Muni” what ever you choose to call it has been a major part of Edmonton’s history for close to a Century. The romance, the adventure, the excitement created at the airport in Edmonton’s heart has shaped more than just Edmonton. The events that happened on this airport often changed Alberta, Canada and the World.

Through the 2012 Year the Alberta Aviation Museum will be celebrating this important anniversary through special events, features, new exhibits and the celebration of other anniversaries coinciding with the 85th Anniversary of the Airport.

Look forward to events like:
- The Gathering of Eagles Dinner
- The Spirit of Edmonton Bi Plane 2012 Tri Province Tour
- Classic Wings and Wheels
- Canada Day events and guest aircraft
- 2012 Airliner Pull
- Mustang Madness
- Starfighter Roll Out
- Celebrations around Opening the Alaska Highway & the North West Staging Route.

As well as many other events, new exhibits and special programs.
