Proud Birds pics

Here are a few shots of the full-scale fiberglass replicas
on display at the Proud Birds restaurant in Los Angeles
(just off the east end of KLAX).

I'll post more pictures later of stuff I viewed at the Planes of Fame
and Yanks Air Museums in Chino.

I can always see some of these when I fly into LAX, but have never seen them up close. Thanks for posting them.

No sweat PJ. I had time to kill waiting for a flight home
out of KLAX.

Shep, I see others have confirmed this is all Tallichet's stuff.
He had a chain of "Aero Squadron" restaurants at one time, and I
believe this one is his as well.

Tallichet once swapped a couple of full size P-51 and P-47 fiberglass
replicas for a real P-51 from a Pennsylvania ANG unit/base (the
real P-51 is restored / flying now).
