Sorry guys, don't know the ID of the Mustang
rebuild nor the story behind the Yak-11 (didn't
think to ask!).

Maybe someone else will pipe up with some info....

I think that the Zero is for Paul Allen/FHC and that Mustang under rebuild may be the TF-51, for Stephen Grey/TFC.

Who is the owner of the F8F Bearcat ?
For a minute there I thought it may have been Steve Hinton's Project.

The Zero is one of the three Flight Magic Zeros that was restored in Russia. It is an A6M3-22. Paul Allen bought it from David Price.

The serial number is 3852 and FAA registration N3852.

I think it is one of the Chinese built verions: C.11, c/n 171304
I don't have any more than that.

That is a static display belonging to Planes of Fame. I believe it was one of the Egyptian airframes. It was concerted to a single seater for display.

The Mustang may be one of Tom Friedkin's. His A-36 is also under rebuild now.

Sorry Mike....

I can't take "requests" as I was only there for a few hours last
Friday and caught an afternoon / evening flight back to Seattle
from LAX that same day.

Also (and you will have to forgive me), I'm not much into jets
or helicopters, so I can't recall any details on those (walked right
by that stuff with my eyes peeled for recip warbirds!). I did "notice"
the F-4 Phantom parked in the west parking lot of the Yanks compound.

I'll upload the Yanks pics in a few moments.
