Another Hamilton early 80's Mustang shot. Good follow up on WATN#9 yesterday. Lets keep it going if we can.

Sadly this aircraft was destroyed in 1984, but the data plate may still be around awaiting a new begining...

I flew in this airplane. Yes, Doc crashed it and was killed along with a passenger.

I believe that North American Maid was a Cavalier..........got to be a TF much later. IIRC....Butch Schroeder was flying it then.

Yeah, I was working at Chrysler back then and went up to 23 Mile and Card Rd to see the site the next day. It was out in the boonies, there was really nothing left of the airplane beyond the rubber tires. Engine seperated and bounced down the cornfield about 300 yds past the fuselage. The only thing left of the engine was the block, every thing was off it or out of it. heads, banks, crank, pistons all gone and it made some serious holes where it hit.
