Wow! Our F-84 made Aeroplane!

Thu Feb 02, 2012 7:30 pm

The February issue of Aeroplane has a blurb on our F-84F project! On page 12 is a a colum on the effort. (Is that a shameless plug?) There are three other volunteers not mentioned in the article: Chuck Faison, Ed Bird and George Guerra.

Last week we took a group photo in front of the airplane. Frome the left: Ed Bird, myself, George Guerra and Chuck Faison. Ok, now I have an issue with my camera: when I look in the mirror I do not see that old fatman that I see in the photo!

The articles on the Il-2 and the TSR.2 are well worth the cost of the magazine, the gratification on seeing our project is priceless!

That's really awesome Cliff! You guys should all be proud of a job well done.

On another note, you look the same as I remember you 20 years ago. You're just missing the glasses and curly blond hair!

I got to pile on. Great job. Usually these projects do not show the blood (literally if you have seen my knuckles!) sweat and tears a project can take from you. The trained eye can see this with your project. You guys should be very proud!
