gun blast tube to identify, possibly F-84

I recently found this part I had totally forgotten about in my garage, bought about 10 years ago as a P-51D part, which obviously it is not:











Would any of you know if this was really off from an aircraft, and then which one?

The part number 30F etc. would indicate a Republic F-84
