John Keeler local hero

I don't know why I never mentioned this before but if you know who John Keeler is? He is from my home town.

He used to buzz the town in P-47's and later bring home his F-105! Flew in ww2, Korea, and Vietnam. :D He was later killed in a cub after he struck power lines. One of the great stories about him around town was how he would fly to and from Harrisburg along the Susquahanna river flying under bridges! I met his daughter who owns a little cafe shop in town. She offered to give me all his airplane models. I declined thinking maybe someone in the family deserved them better then me. But he is a local hero and well folk hero now too.

We also have another great fighter pilot, Mr. Ken Williams who I have met because my third grade teacher was his daughter. He always wore a baseball cap with a bunch of airplane pins on it. He flew the P-51 shuttle missions to Russia during ww2. 8)
