The only restoration project I can think of that might have been in that area was the FG-1D previously owned by Gary Kohs. It was purchased by Duane Doyle in Castro Valley, CA (San Francisco) a year or so ago.

Hi Col. Rohr,
I remember what seemed like a brand new fuselodge(from the pilot section to the tail). I seen it there from a few visits that would probably involve around 1998 to 2000. I know for a fact that it was a FG-1D Goodyear Corsair. But after the museum had that finacal problems I haven't seen it. Im guessing they sold it(unless it WASN'T theirs to began with). Just now I am wondering what is the current status of this plane? Is it flying?
Anyway, Thanks!

This was Kevin Hooey's aircraft, Bu.76628. He sold it on a couple of years ago to Dwayne Doyle.
Cheers,
Richard
