This is apparently associated with a B-24 squadron or group, but I cannot identify which. Do any of you recognize it? Black cat with red nose gripping a red bomb. Thanks for any help or info!

Look on the following site:

http://forum.armyairforces.com/Any-information-on-355th-Bombing-Squadron-m67178.aspx

Several posts down shows the patch you are looking for. It's of the 355th Bomb Squadron, 331st Bomb Group, 315th Bomb Wing, 20th Air Force, and was indeed a B-24 squadron at one point. It was also briefly a B-17 squadron, and then a B-29 squadron. Disestablished after WW2 and later reincarnated as a Troop Carrier Squadron with C-119s.
