Representative 1920's flyable mailplane needed near Dallas.

Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:23 pm

Anybody have any contact info or know of a flyable, 1920's-1930's aircraft, vintage or military, in the Dallas area, that could be used to represent a 1920's-30's mail plane?
I have a friend that needs one for some film work. Jenny, Stinson Detroiter, Stearman 4E or something similar would work.
Please PM me.
Thanks.
Jerry

Contact the folks up in Witchita Falls Call Field Museum. They have a flying Jenny.

You might try the folks down at Kingsbury, they are just down the road from Seguin, Texas. A lot closer than Wichita.

If there's nothing in Dallas, tell them to come to Spokane. :P
A Canuck, Stearman C3, 4DM, Boeing 40....we're hip deep in 20s-30s mail planes!

Sounds like mailplanes in Spokane are like so many letters in a mail sack!!!!

If I could choose, I'd go with you guys due to the plethora of types, but I'm merely the conduit!

We often ship the 1918 Curtiss JN-4H Hisso Jenny that I fly around the US. We have also flown some early air mail reenactments. Let me know if I can be of service.
