T-33 Restoration at the Connecticut Air & Space Center

Thu Mar 01, 2012 12:55 am

I'm not sure if you all are aware but we are restoring a Marine Corp T-33B/TV-2 that we received from the GSA a number of years ago. We are looking for some major parts (non airworthy) to complete the project:
One Nose wheel & tire assembly
Two main landing gear tires
One Outer landing gear door and both inner door actuating cylinders
Two dive flap doors and actuating cylinders with all attaching hardware
A tailpipe and it's attaching hardware
Two wing tip tanks
The proper engine, an Allison J33-A-35 would be the crowning touch.
In addition we are looking for the full set of gauges for the instrument panels and a Trainer Hood.

I am always looking for leads on parts so if you know of anyone, I would appreciate the assistance.
The Museum is a 501(c)3 and always appreciates donations.
