A neat, little WWII base is being recreated by some guys in Fayetteville, West Virginia! I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun!
I found it it the CJ-2A jeep site I visit often.

Very cool! I've often wondered if it was worth going to some of these old / abandoned airfields and seeing if it was feasible to dismantle and transport some of the barracks, mess hall, officers, club, etc. If there even around. Or does it make more sense to just build brand new buildings?

You might run into problems dismantling or moving 70 year old buildings since they were built using asbestos insulation and pressed asbestos shingles (those cement looking type grooved style shingles) and the EPA is death on removal in a correct manner, there are a few smaller old structures from WW2 still on KPAE that are awaiting the Federal money to safely take them apart.
