"Fuddy Duddy" was my first B-17 ride, years ago at Geneseo.
"Nine-O-Nine" a couple of times over the years.
"Liberty Belle" from Connecticut to Virginia in 2009.
"Yankee Lady" last year.
All great trips, but "Liberty Belle" down the Eastcoast was special on many levels for me and my wife!

Nine-O-Nine ... Trenton, NJ ... probably 2002 ... I was in the process of converting my cousin's home 8mm films while he was serving with the 381st BG as a RO and took films while on board B-17's.
It was a lifetime experience for this RO who only flew in C's (46,47, 54, 119 & 124)

Aluminum Overcast was my first B-17 ride in 2000. I flew on Liberty Belle numerous times including a very chilly January cross country from Albuquerque, NM to Canton, GA in 2010. That was a special flight for me since I got to fly in the right seat for about 2 1/2 hours! Hopefully, soon I'll get some rides in The Movie Memphis Belle

Nine O Nine (w. the old man) 2011. Awesome
I would have been on that Yankee Lady flight that Jerry flew on last year but he kicked me out of the doorway when I was boarding.

'ALUMINUM OVERCAST' ... 1998?
Had my 35mm film camera (that was all there was back then...) took pictures throughout the flight; went to un-load the camera afterwards - yep, no film.....

Got left seat stick time in SJ on 9-6-10, with my family aboard, from the same ramp that my Dad started his Air Corp flying career 67 years earlier to the day. He went on to fly B-17's with the 483rd and 2nd. I didn't know the significance of the date until later when I checked his log book.
