EAA Museum - Memorial Day Weekend

Fri May 25, 2012 10:32 am

I'm headed to visit the in-laws this weekend and they've suggested heading to the EAA Museum this weekend, probably tomorrow. Any other WIXers going to be around for a cup of coffee and some aviation appreciation?

Any tips for a visit from those who've already been? Timing? Photography? etc.?

What sayeth the WIX brain trust?

Have a great Memorial Day weekend and don' t forget to remind those folks who think this holiday is just for grilling burgers not to forget what it's really about.

Do you know what time you will be around? I may be able to get free and come give you a tour of the archive and small artifact storage areas. If you want, shoot me an email at zbaughman@eaa.org or a PM here and I can give you my cell phone number to call when you are here.

A very nice museum there. The 1st time I paid a visit there, my buddy and I spent close to 3 hrs just in the Eagle Hangar where all the WW2 stuff is. You will not be disappointed by your visit there.
