NMUSAF Collection

Fri May 25, 2012 1:53 pm

I compiled a list of aiframes based mainly on Andy Mardens book, but also with a few other sources. You can find it here...
ImageAerial Visuals - Location Dossier - National Museum of the United States Air Force

I would like to place markers for the...
-> Modern Flight Gallery
-> Eugene W. Kettering Gallery
-> Presidential Hangar
-> Research and Development Hangar

So I turn to the WIX brain trust. I am sure at least a dozen or a hundred of you are familiar with the museum.

TIP: Lat and lons work very well. To get them follow the link above, scroll to the map, zoom in on the building and right-click on the map. Just copy the presented coordinates in a reply here.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Mike

P.S.
Also... If anyone has pictures of the airframes in the collection, upload would be greatly appreciated, especially photos of current or past restoration work or those not yet on display, etc. There are many gaps, so just follow the airframe dossier or photo upload links to see what is needing.

It is not just my work. Like I said much of it is based on the data in Andy Marden's book.

To all... the intent for the database is that is be a living entity. So I am always looking for updates for location and airframe dossiers. If there is anything you can add or reports to be made contributions are welcomed via the tools provided in the dossiers.
