Stearman Expertise Wanted, Re: N75001 and N42682

Calling the WIX brain trust, more specifically the Stearman community. Could one of you please review the history of this airframe?

I may have unitentionally merged the airframes histories of two distinct airframes. I was hoping someone here on WIX can confirm I have made an error, or that all is good.

I think the problem is that a number of aircraft have been registered with c/n 1, 001 etc.
N42682 c/n 001 is a different aircraft, the manufacturer's name shows as BOEING/CLASSIC PLANES INC.
N522BV c/n 1 will also be a different aircraft, this time the manufacturer's name shows as BOEING/VEIT.
This suggests to me that the above two are effectively homebuilts, presumably using some original parts.
N75001 is c/n 75-001 (note not 75-00001 as you list), builder Boeing. I think this is the real version.

If memory serves me correctly, Jim Ardy of Phoenix Arizona owned the original Stearman #1 from the early 1970's to when it was sold, (early in the 1990's?)
