WWII strike/recon photos

One of the mechanics at work loaned these to me to copy, his grandfather was in a B-24 outfit in the Pacific and saved all the photos that he could. I have a roll of photos that is about 5 inches in diameter, so this may take a while.

Very cool.

My uncle had a bunch of these from southern Europe... I scanned most of them..they are quite interesting.

It would be interesting to see modern day shots of the same areas side by side to see how much the areas have evolved/devolved in nearly 70 years.
