A future "Thunder Over Michigan"

Thu Aug 11, 2005 10:32 am

Just think about this. In a few years when Texas Raiders, Aluminum Overcast and Paul Allen's B-17E are flying again, is there a posibility of having 11 B-17's at the show? And if Miss Angela were to show up: 12!

With Sally B and Pink Lady flown over 2 joined by FIFI and Doc! Oh man   One can only hope

is Boeing Bee retired from flight?

Thu Aug 11, 2005 6:33 pm

I don't believe Boeing Bee has flown in several years... I believe that she has been permanently grounded by the Museum of Flight, though not for mechanical reasons that I am aware of. Anyone have more details?

WHEW !!

Man oh man !! The possibilities here boggle the mind. Doc and FiFi, 11 B-17's, maybe we can talk Mr. Kermit Weeks into bringing DD up with Diamond Lil and Witchcraft. And put up as many Mitchells as we can...like I said...possibiliteis boggle the mind.sigh....it's GOOD to think positive isn't it ?

:D :D :D

Purchased the Bolivian E that Whittington brought up from Bolivia in 1990 and had owned since then.

This was a former Kenting machine. For more information check out Warbirds Digest issue #4.
