Details:
My wife Jenn and I will be hosting the 7th Annual WIX Gathering BBQ/Cookout at our place during AirVenture. We'll supply all kinds of food and beverage, but anyone who wants to bring something extra (drinks or food) is more than welcome.

The house is located at 1919 W. Waukau Ave, which is at the southeast corner of Poberezny Rd and Waukau Ave, right on the edge of the EAA campground and within close walking distance of the Museum. Waukau Ave leads straight east to the FAA control tower. The "Welcome WIXers" P-47 banner will be out in the front yard, so you should be able to find the house fairly easily.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come, just try to let me know ahead of time so we can make sure to prepare enough food. If you drive in, just park somewhere in the yard. We always try and do an annual WIX group photo in the backyard, but since three of the museum's jets are parked over by the F-86 on the pole, it might be fun to walk over and have a group shot taken there. Something to ponder. In any case, sorry it took so long to get this posted.

Good morning Zach, I believe I have your address correct. Great location I must add and I hope to stop by and shake some hands for once. I bet it's a big surprise sometimes to meet WIXers in person, I would assume what you think of someone online and what you meet in person are far different, hopefully for the better Are women allowed to attend or is your gathering a "male only" affair? A female friend of mine always wonders why I spend so much time on this website and wants to meet what she suggests "are others that suffer the same internet forum obsession" lolol
She also states she'll win the bikini contest hands down

I've made a great many friends from the WIX gathering, and have only experienced one time where two WIXers who had a disagreement on the forum met in person at the cookout and didn't come away friends. In any case, women are more than welcome to attend, although the bikini contest is down the street at the S.O.S. brothers beer tent.
