This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

D.T.S: (FYI)
C/w.com will be diverting funds (pesos) from your PT-19 paint job to the FAH Bell P-63E restoration project. It has suddenly taking a higher priority.
Your PT-19 as we undertand will have a roaring engine and it is slowly but surely moving in the right direction.
I hope the Honduran Museum folks see your PT-19 project as a fine example of persistence & determination....as a reminder perhaps that the slogan "press on" will always solve the problems of humankind! PT-19 Buff/FAH19®

Hi to all,
With reference to aircraft 42-40307: indeed, USAAF serial numbers 42-49277 thru 42-49426 were assigned to Howard PT-23A-HOs.
Cheers,

Scott, PM me if you are still interested. I will hook you up with contact info for a couple of guys that are looking to sell theirs.
Or......if you are
really up to a challenge, I still have one PT-19 skeleton left (that is surplus to my PT restoration) stored out in the barn.
Talk to you later....
Steve
