I always refer to the head on B-26 shot as 'HEY DUDE!! it's almost 4:20 don't Bogart' (let's see how many pick up on that)
the pre war 'Dauntless' is close, it's a NORTHROP BT-1 (look @ the rudder designator) which did morph into the SBD once Jack sold the design to DOUGLAS.
Not so much 'Frying Tigah' more likely 14th A.F. as the AVG didn't operate P-40K's (dorsal fin extension), love the soldiers warm weather footwear.
The P-40's in N. Africa are F's with MERLINS (no top side carb intake scoop)

Thanks, Pat.
There quite a few photos, I've never seen before. Especially like the WWII color photos.
Fascinating stuff.

The Inspector is losing it. My FO shows up for dinner in a Bob Marley shirt, and he's a retired Reserve General. What's the world coming to?

Guess I'll have to take the SCORPIONS, IRON BUTTERFLY and AC/DC CD's out of the Jeep, can I leave my TALKING HEADS and WARREN ZEVON stuff in? Us mid 60's guys need some sort of entertainment besides idiot drivers while driving
So then both of you must get the joke!
