Who else has photos of their projects, whether they are airworthy restorations or just an instrument panel?

Thanks,

Brandon

I've been around the WIX long enough that I should know this. Are you working on the T-6 full or part time? It's certainly looking good.

3 people part time...

I work on Saturdays only, and my two buddies work a little bit here and there. One is retired and the other is semi-retired (a consultant).

I'm doing the sheet metal work and paying the bills, Ken is working on the flight controls, and John is working on the systems (hydraulics, brakes, etc.).

Thanks for the compliment! Hopefully some of the folks that have never worked on an airplane will be able to understand what is involved. Maybe that will inspire them to take on a similar project.

Have you thought of a paint job yet?

Have you thought of a paint job yet? I suggest electric blue with neon green trim... oh wait... no I don't.

Yes, in fact I have. Considering my financial situation, I can just afford a new bottle of Phosphoric Acid Aluminum Brightener. So bare metal it is!

Maybe I'll paint your picture on the side too...

Obviously you are a little bit better at Photoshop than I am! Now maybe you can make a sidescan sonar image out of it? :D

Just a plain NICE airplane...I really envy you.. I've been thinking about a project and a T-6 would be like a Mustang to me...hell, a Aeronca would be like a Mustang. Beautiful work.

Well, it all started some years ago with a $6,000 Luscombe... I would have been many dollars ahead to just save up and buy a flyer, but that isn't much of a challenge.

Brandon, you can't sneak anything past this bunch.

Keep those updates coming though, there seems to be a growing interest in little projects like that.
