Mystery T28

Anyone know anything about this T28. Took this photo about 6 months after hurircaine Andrew in what was left of Homestead, Fla. Looked like a war zone. And here was this T28 sittying in the middle of a field. Thanks, Keith Not sure how to post pics!!!! Help[!!!

You'll have to first upload your photo to a site like photobucket.com. Once it is on there, then you will copy the link for that specific photo. Next, hit the "Img" button up there ^^^.

That will give you two boxes that say "img" in them. Paste the url from your picture in between those boxes, and you should be good to go.

I can remember Mr. Macivor flying this aircraft into Tamiami Airport (TMB) on occasion. Macivor Field use to be located at his house in Southwest Dade County. No longer on maps. He use to have a Lodestar there at one time. This is the same Macivor with the DC6 located at Zuehl Airport Texas. Believe thats where he calls home today.

Doesn't look like this aircraft ever had an airworthiness certificate.

The FAA registry may be wrong however, or the aircraft could have been flown out of storage on a ferry permit.
