With all the talk about Wildcats here the past several days, does anyone have a list of where all the survivors are; both static and flying? Anyone know how the restoration is coming along with the Museum of Flight's example?

I never thought about checking wikipedia. Lots of good info there. The warbird registry is way out of date.

Isn't one of the U.S airworthy Wildcats now at Old Warden/Shuttlewoth collection

The Wildcat now with the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden (formerly on display at the Muesum of Flight) is not flyable at this time, but will be undergoing a thorough restoration to fly following the completion of other projects in the collection (I believe that being namely the Spitfire Mk.V). This aircraft is FM-2 BuNo 86690.
