Can anyone identify this F-5/P-38 part?

This was recovered from a crash site in Germany and I'm at A loss as to what section of the aircraft it is from. I don't expect anyone to go out of their way researching this but if anyone recognizes it or can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. It does have two part numbers, 102-310331-7 on the edge and 102-310331-5 near the access panel. Thanks!

P-51 wrap around cover over the radiator.

Thank you very much, Rich! It certainly looks like you are correct about the p51 which would explain why I couldn't find it on the 38!
