Hadfield Expands Twitterverse (Dave's Brother)

Sat Jan 05, 2013 8:18 pm

With permission from Russ Niles, at AVweb, I am posting this link about Dave's brother Chris. I told Russ that Dave was one of our members here at WIX, & he immediately responded yes go ahead, he knows our Buddy Dave, & responded that Dave is a good writer. Once again Chris GODSPEED, we are watching.

Well that was nice of Russ. I'm going to have to hit him up for a raise.

Yes, Chris is a superb Communicator, and he's in his element -- doing hard science during the day, and passing along his feeling of wonderment and awe in his off-hours in the evening.

I love the Kirk-Sulu-Nimoy dialogue that's happened. I remember Chris and I discovering Star Trek in about 1967. We thought it was the coolest thing ever created, and could hardly wait to rush off the school bus and warm up the ancient TV we had then -- it wasn't until the '70s that I learned the show was in Colour.

Chris is also a warbird pilot -- he flies Hawk One, the VWoC F-86 (for those who didn't see the other thread).

In this photo I have my Dad in the back seat of the P-40, and Chris is flying the Sabre. Photo taken by Peter Handley in a Harvard flown by Ulrich Bolinger.
