C-47/DC-3 at Franklin, IN?

Tue Jan 08, 2013 11:29 pm

Browsing over Google Maps, I noticed a C-47 seems to have turned up at Franklin Flying Field (3FK)

Does anyone know which aircraft this is? 3FK is sort of on the way for a trip I've had in the works for a while now, and a C-47 would definitely sweeten the deal for adding it.

Using Google Earth to crosscheck, the imagery is from August 29th, 2012, so I'd say there's still a chance it's there.

Hello
I don't understand why they wrote this on this page :
"Tooie took her first flight in 1935, and would fly an unbelievable life. Deep in the Battle of Normandy, Tooie would fly troops and equipment."
