CAF Dixie Wing

Thu Jul 04, 2013 7:32 pm

As we're are on break from our training at Flight Safety, we decided to go for a ride and drove to Falcon Field in Peachtree. We thought that we would buck ourselves to a closed door, but Jim Buckley was there and he let us in to see the airplanes.

A big thank you to Jim who made an otherwise dull day shine very bright.

These aircraft having their " skin" off , are being serviced for various reasons. I wish that aircraft in museums on static display would have some panels off so the internal workings could be studied.

Thanks for the pictures, what are you training on, CRJ? If you have time check out the varsity drive-in for lunch...

Kudos!

BTW, while your at it, join the CAF. $200 is not expensive to what you get. :)
(or join any vintage aircraft organization for that matter).
