I got excited when i saw it at first thinking it was the lost c-54 but then saw its a 124.

sure hope they find that plane one day  some of the satellite imagery they are using has already located a plane wreck that has been there since at least 2002-2005 as well as eliminating a lot of the search zone and locating a few suspicious objects. They just need to find some better imagery

The C-124 find is somewhat old news. It was reported in the media (and here, IIRC) a few months back.

In that case I encourage a moderator to delete this thread. Imagine that, Yahoo recycling old news stories...

pop1 ........ so much for global warming! these finds are popping up with frequency lately. bad for ecology, good for families who have suffered the "m.i.a. status.

I wouldn't say it was recycled. I appreciated the update and am glad to hear that recovery operations are continuing. :)
