Starfighter Roll Out event Open Invitation

Wed Jul 24, 2013 10:56 am

Open invitation to
The Alberta Aviation Museum Starfighter Roll Out
August 17th, 2013…10:00am

Are you Ex-Starfighter aircrew? Ex-Starfighter Ground crew or technician?
Worked for North West Industries in the Starfighter Overhaul program in Edmonton?
Worked for Candair or Orenda when the Canadian Starfighters were built?

If you answered yes to any of these questions we would like you and an escort to be our guest for the Starfighter Roll Out ceremony August 17th beginning at 10am.

Your admission and the admission of your escort is waived for the Roll Out ceremony, there will be special seating sections for “Starfighter” personnel and your contribution to history (as a group) will be recognized.

All we ask is you e-mail an RSVP to aama@live.ca to confirm your attendance and if you will be bringing an escort, we would also ask you confirm your place in Starfighter history (i.e. aircrew, ground crew, NWI, Canadair, Orenda etc.).

The Public is also invited to attend the Ribbon Cutting” for the “New Look” of the Alberta Aviation Museum and “Roll Out” ceremony of the “Starfighter”.
Regular admissions in effect.

Here's to hoping that the message is getting out to all those that have been associated with the Starfighter during its time in service, manufacturing and maintenance.

We are really hoping to see people involved withe Canada's Starfighter programs join us August 17th.

Please join us and it doesn't matter if you were Military or Civilian:

Air Crew
Ground Crew
Canadair
Orenda
North West Industries

We are hoping to recognize the contribution all those in the program made and the History that surrounds the Starfighter in Canada, Alberta and Edmonton.

Please spread the word
