This was going to be so simple...
I was looking at the Auburn University photo collection site, and discovered a very interesting collection of photos taken by an aircraft mechanic in Hawaii, which has a lot of cool photos (no Pearl Harbor attack shots, just to get that out of the way), including Amelia Earhart's Lockheed 10, the Fokker Southern Cross, and the Lady Southern Cross, plus a variety of early thirties Air Corps/Navy types, including some Keystone bombers, Curtiss fighters, some shots of C-33 s/n 36-73 after a crackup on Kauai, and a few postwar C-47 and B-29 shots.
So I think my fellow WIXers will get a kick out of this, and I'm about to post the link for your enjoyment when I see
this thing:

Hmm. What is it? I went through all of the NMUSAF pages for early bombers and none of them matched! Finally I got it: Curtiss XNBS-4, A.S. #68571. I think it predates the other photos since it was built in 1924 and surveyed in 1930.
Anyway, enjoy! Link:
