I spoke with Bill Greenwood on the phone a few min ago.
He told me that they have put all the skins back on the wings of the Spitfire. But there is a lot more work to do on the aircraft.
He wanted to thank all who inquired about it at Oshkosh.

I'm not going to tell who passed the rumor to me, but I heard the aircraft was condemned and was going to be cut up into tinfoil hats to protect people from Republican mind control....

Glad to hear that bill is well and the aircraft is under repair.Is there any timescale when she will be airborne.
