no new updates in the local news, but the FAA shows it was issued a airworthiness certificate in July, crashed in Sept.

Matt the airworthiness was issued to the new owner in July. This UH- has been flying in Texas for years. It has been a participant in many Viet Nam airshow reenactments.

As RickH said this UH- has been airworthy for quite a while. It has not been operated by the Vietnam War Flight Museum for over a year. The link to them is misleading. Prayers to families of those involved......

The Registration was issued on July 5, 2013

The airworthiness was issued on March 28, 2013.
