Oct. 11: 32 T-6s, a P-51 and a B-25 are planning on flying over the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery and Reagan Int'l airport, as part on NATA's 75th anniversary of the first flight of the AT-6, SNJ, Harvard from Culpeper, VA.
Plan to be launch at 1045 and back to Culpeper at 1230, subject to WX. If 11th is scrubbed, will try on the
12th.

You guys mind swinging north up into Maryland a little bit? Right over central Rockville, would be fine. I'd love to see that formation.
I'm presuming that someone got the requisite permission from the FAA to fly in restricted airspace?

Yes we have permission and I thing the Gov. of VA will be in one of the T-6s.

I heard it was scrubbed today. Are you going to try for 1045 tomorrow, or possibly later? I'm actually heading into D.C. tomorrow and would love to catch the flyover. Of course, the weather this weekend is marginal, at best.

I'am at Culpeper and we will try for tomorrow, if not then for for Sunday, its been raining here for 3 days.
