Experimental N-reg warbird in Europe?

Fri Oct 11, 2013 10:27 am

Is it possible to operate an experimental N-registered jet warbird in Europe? I read somewhere that it should be possible in the UK, but only allowed 30 days per year? Anyone with experience? If operated from the UK, is it restricted to UK airspace?

This may cover the US side of things. FAR 91.319

http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?c= ... 10&idno=14

" An applicant must submit a request for deviation authority to the FAA at least 60 days before the date of intended operations. A request for deviation authority must contain a complete description of the proposed operation and justification that establishes a level of safety equivalent to that provided under the regulations for the deviation requested."
