Thunder over Michigan 2006

Thunder over Michigan 2006 is in the works. Next years theme will be Spitfires and Hurricanes, along with other british aircraft.
So far we have the following:
six Spitfires
three Hurricanes
More to come.

Outstanding news

If possible could we get a list of possible Spit's?

Im guessing MK912, SL721, MJ730 and would really love to see TE308.

If TE308 is going to attend would it be possible to find out if Mr. Greenwood is going to offer rides ( I did have a website of his that had the information but lost it due to a nasty virus )

I did not know Mr Greenwood sold rides, But he will do a acro routine.

Bill will always do rides provided you weigh under 200 lbs...not over...ruins the trim characteristics when the weight is more than that and makes him have to work harder. I wonder if Lone Star's Hurricane which was supposed to be unveiled this season ( but as far as I know is still being restored) from Ray Middleton's shop just up the road will get there? Would be a great time for it to debut on the airshow circuit (after Oshkosh of course)....

It looks like your really going for the "British" flair here. Could we possibly be seeing additional "British" aircraft in the offering down the line ? Perhaps a Firefly, or a Lysander, or even perhaps something just a touch larger with 4 Merlins turning to help out with some kind of "formation" ? hint hint hint ??


If I may offer a personal note also, you folks really outdid yourselves this past year with the B-17's.... a wonderful showing...you should be very proud.
Your shows have by far, for me at least, been the finest Warbrid shows I
have been priveledged to attend. I look forward to the one in the planning stages as well with equal curiousity and hope.

Rudy Frasca's Spitfire is a MK XVIII powered by a Griffon.

In keeping with the British theme you could also have Martlets, Harvards, Kittyhawks, Mustangs, Thunderbolts, Dakotas, Mitchells, Liberators....
