Mustang P-51 D "Louisiana Kid"

Sat Dec 14, 2013 5:40 am

I thought it might be of interest for 1 or 2 of you:
"Louisiana Kid" just had her 50. flight, since arrival in Germany in January, yesterday. :supz: 8)
I believe she wasn´t flown that much by the previous owner.
Birds should fly, that is what they were made for!!

Today posted on their FB-site:

01.05.2013 1st flight
11.05.2014 64th flight

(in Germany).

If you like to follow, see previous post for links. I am impressed, it´s a lot of flying for a warbird (at least that´s my impression regarding other operators in Germany). I have no idea how many flights an average US based P-51 does in a year, if there even is an average in this regard....
