This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I was just wondering what's been up with Wes Strickler's Seafire that was restored a few years ago. I don't hear much about it.

Isn't he having another one done?

Haven't heard anything much since the summer it was completed/debuted, but it does seem to make the occasional appearance at the airport it calls home (at least at the annual "Salute To Veterans" event):

Jerry, you are not alone. AFAIK this thing has barely seen the light of day since its static debut at OSH.
Canadian Warplane tried to invite them to Hamilton. (PR503 was saved from the scrap heap by the then fledgling CWH). They declined.
I did, however, see on Airframe Assemblies Facebook page, a frame 5 (which is the forward spar and firewall ) for another Seafire XV.
I suspect that this too is owned by Mr Stricker.
I'd love to see PR503 put through her paces one day.
